About MSC Armonia
MSC Armonia was built as European Vision for Festival Cruises, and in 2001 it served as a floating hotel for world leaders at the G8 summit in Genoa. MSC took it over in 2004, and in the mid-2010s it was lengthened under MSC’s Renaissance Program, which inserted a new midsection with more cabins and public space. It is one of the smallest ships in MSC’s fleet, with a traditional layout. Balcony cabins are fewer than on newer ships, so book early if a private veranda matters to you.
Best for: Budget-minded travelers who want a small, traditional ship for short or port-heavy cruises.
