About MSC Fantasia
MSC Fantasia, from 2008, launched the Fantasia class and introduced the MSC Yacht Club, MSC’s ship-within-a-ship concept for suite guests. At launch it was MSC’s largest ship and set the template for the line’s elegant Italian look, with Swarovski crystal staircases and a lot of marble. Fantasia has sailed in the Mediterranean and South America. It suits travelers who want a classic MSC experience and a quieter, more traditional ship than the newer World or Meraviglia classes. Standard cabins are a little smaller than on MSC’s most recent ships, so compare categories carefully.
Best for: Travelers who want a classic, elegant MSC ship with a traditional feel.
