About Emerald Princess
Emerald Princess, from 2007, is the middle of the three Crown-style Grand-class ships, so it shares Crown Princess’s Piazza atrium, with the International Café, street-style entertainment and live music. On the top deck, The Sanctuary offers an adults-only escape with cabanas and attentive service, while Movies Under the Stars draws people to the main pool at night with blankets and popcorn. Its many smaller lounges help spread guests out on sea days. Expect a calm, traditional cruise with a mostly adult crowd outside school holidays and few of the flashy extras found on newer ships.
Best for: Couples and mature travelers who want a calm, traditional Princess cruise.
