About Disney Magic
Disney Magic, delivered in 1998, was Disney Cruise Line’s first ship and introduced rotational dining, where you move between themed restaurants each night with your servers. A major 2013 refurbishment added AquaDunk, a drop slide that shoots riders out over the side of the ship, and later updates brought Rapunzel’s Royal Table. The ship’s classic ocean-liner look, with two funnels and a dark hull, sets it apart. Magic has sailed a wide range of itineraries, including Europe and the Caribbean. It carries far fewer guests than the Wish-class ships, so characters, pools and shows feel less crowded, though cabins and bathrooms are older.
Best for: Families who want a classic, intimate Disney experience on varied itineraries.
