About Celebrity Equinox
Celebrity Equinox, from 2009, is the second Solstice-class ship and has spent many seasons sailing the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. It shares the class’s Lawn Club, the glass-roofed Solarium and specialty dining such as Tuscan Grille and Murano, plus AquaClass spa cabins with their own restaurant. Most cabins have balconies, and the clean, modern décor has aged well. The crowd leans toward couples and mature travelers, and evenings revolve around the Martini Bar, the theater and long dinners rather than late-night parties.
Best for: Couples and mature travelers who want a relaxing, upscale Caribbean cruise with good food.
