About Celebrity Solstice
Celebrity Solstice, delivered in 2008, launched the Solstice class and introduced the Lawn Club, a half-acre of real grass on the top deck that became a Celebrity signature; in its early years the lawn also hosted a live glassblowing show. The ship pairs a calm, contemporary look with a wide spread of dining, from Tuscan Grille to the French restaurant Murano, and AquaClass spa cabins come with access to Blu, a restaurant just for those guests. Its seasons have included Alaska and Australia and New Zealand, where its glass-walled Solarium is welcome on cool days.
Best for: Travelers who want a calm, premium ship for Alaska or Australia and New Zealand.
