About Celebrity Millennium
Celebrity Millennium, delivered in 2000, launched the Millennium class and was among the first cruise ships powered by gas turbines. For years its specialty restaurant featured original wood paneling from RMS Olympic, sister ship of the Titanic. Refits have since modernized the cabins and added The Retreat for suite guests. Its deployments have ranged from Asia to Alaska and the Caribbean. It is mid-size by today’s standards, so expect a calmer pace, quick embarkation and easier tender days than on the line’s larger ships.
Best for: Travelers who want premium service on a mid-size ship and value itineraries in Asia or Alaska.
