About Costa Favolosa
Costa Favolosa entered service in 2011 as the third Concordia-class ship, and her designers leaned into fantasy: public rooms evoke fairy-tale castles and royal palaces, with mosaics, gilded details and jewel-toned lighting. Beneath the decor she offers the class’s proven mix of a big theater, a 4D cinema, a covered pool for cooler days and the Samsara Spa with its own spa cabins. She has spent time in South America as well as the Mediterranean, which shapes her mostly European and Latin American crowd. Life on board is noisy and fun rather than refined, with late dinners, music in every lounge and lots of children in school holidays.
Best for: Families and fun-seekers who enjoy over-the-top decor and a noisy, sociable Italian-style holiday.
