About Costa Serena
Costa Serena is the oldest of the four Concordia-class ships, entering service in 2007, and her interiors draw on Greek and Roman mythology, with venues named for gods and goddesses and plenty of classical motifs. She has the class’s generous facilities, including a big Samsara Spa, a covered pool, a 4D cinema and a busy bar at the foot of the atrium. Serena spent several years based in Asia before returning to European itineraries, so she is used to welcoming a wide range of nationalities. On board, the mood is festive and family-friendly, with multilingual entertainment and late dinners.
Best for: Families and couples who want a festive, well-equipped Italian ship and enjoy mixing with travelers from many countries.
