About Norwegian Aqua
Norwegian Aqua debuted in 2025 as the first Prima Plus ship, a larger version of Norwegian Prima and Viva. It introduced the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid of roller coaster and waterslide, and Glow Court, a sports court that turns into an interactive digital game zone at night. The Haven grew too, adding multi-bedroom duplex suites for families and groups. Ocean Boulevard, Infinity Beach and the Indulge Food Hall carry over from the first Prima ships, along with the class’s light, uncluttered interiors. Aqua has sailed from Florida on Caribbean itineraries.
Best for: Families and friend groups who want Norwegian’s headline thrills and generous suite options on a Caribbean week.

Sailing with Norwegian
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) built its identity on Freestyle Cruising: no fixed dinner times, no formal nights and a long list of restaurants you choose from each evening. Its big, modern ships add go-kart tracks, Broadway-style shows and The Haven, a private suite enclave. It suits independent-minded couples, groups and families who like flexibility, less so budget purists who dislike add-on charges.
