About Vista

Vista launched Oceania Cruises’ Allura class in 2023, the line’s first new design in more than a decade. She’s a step up in size and polish from Marina and Riviera, with roomier standard staterooms, a light and airy contemporary style and a lineup of restaurants that rivals luxury lines. Vista introduced Aquamar Kitchen, a wellness-focused café, and brought back Jacques, the French bistro named for chef Jacques Pépin. The vibe is quietly upscale and country-club casual, with a mature crowd, lectures, a small casino and evening music rather than large-scale entertainment. She typically sails Europe in summer and warmer regions in winter.

Best for: Couples who choose a cruise for the food and want one of Oceania’s roomy Allura-class ships with a relaxed, sophisticated mood.

Sailing with Oceania

Oceania Cruises is an upper-premium line built around food and destinations: small to mid-size ships, specialty restaurants with no extra charge, and long, port-rich itineraries around the world. Fares include gratuities, Wi-Fi and soft drinks, and the dress code is relaxed country-club casual. It suits food-loving, well-traveled adults, mostly over 55, and isn’t designed for families or nightlife.
