About Crystal Serenity

Crystal Serenity is the larger of Crystal’s two ships, entering service in 2003 and relaunched in 2023 after a major refurbishment under new ownership. The renovation refreshed her suites and public spaces with a lighter, more contemporary look while preserving the classic Crystal touches regulars love, such as the Palm Court for afternoon tea and the Crystal Cove atrium bar. She carries fewer guests than she did originally, giving everyone more room. Dining includes Umi Uma, a Japanese restaurant from chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and Osteria d’Ovidio, an Italian restaurant. Serenity sails Europe, the Caribbean and longer voyages, and her size gives her one of the broadest choices of lounges among luxury ships.

Best for: Travelers who want a classic luxury ship with spacious public rooms, excellent dining and a loyal, well-traveled crowd.
