About Silver Cloud
Silver Cloud was Silversea’s very first ship, launched in 1994, and in 2017 she was converted into an ice-class expedition ship. The transformation kept her elegant suites, most with verandas, and her butler service, while adding Zodiacs, kayaks and a large expedition team. In polar regions she sails with fewer guests than her full capacity, which means more time ashore for everyone during landings. She explores Antarctica, the Arctic and other remote regions, offering a rare blend of luxury and adventure. Expect a well-traveled crowd, lectures by expert naturalists and an easygoing, friendly atmosphere.
Best for: Travelers who want a luxurious expedition to Antarctica or the Arctic with butler service and spacious suites.
