About Carnival Jubilee
Carnival Jubilee, the third Excel-class ship, debuted in December 2023 and was built for Galveston, giving Texas cruisers one of Carnival’s largest ships on seven-night Western Caribbean routes to ports such as Cozumel, Roatán and Costa Maya. Unlike its two Finnish-built sisters, it came from Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. The layout follows the Excel formula, with BOLT on the top deck, the three-deck Grand Central atrium and an aft Summer Landing zone, plus Rudi’s Seagrill for seafood. Expect a full, family-heavy ship during Texas school holidays and spring break.
Best for: Texas and Gulf Coast families who want Carnival’s biggest ship without flying to Florida.
