About Carnival Venezia
Carnival Venezia was built in 2019 as Costa Venezia and moved to Carnival in 2023 as the first ship in the line’s “Carnival Fun Italian Style” concept. It keeps much of its Venice-inspired décor, with Italian art and design throughout, while adding Carnival favorites such as Guy’s Burger Joint and the BlueIguana Cantina. The result is a blend you won’t find on other Carnival ships: classic Carnival fun with a more polished European look. Venezia has been based in New York, giving Northeast cruisers a Manhattan departure for Bermuda, Canada and the Caribbean.
Best for: Northeast cruisers who want a drive-to departure from New York and a Carnival ship with a touch of Italian style.
