About Carnival Liberty

Carnival Liberty, the 2005 Conquest-class ship, was the first in the fleet to get Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades in 2011 and has been refreshed since. Today you’ll find Guy’s Burger Joint, the BlueIguana Cantina, the RedFrog Rum Bar and a WaterWorks area with slides, along with Serenity for adults. Liberty has been a fixture on short Bahamas and Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral, so it’s an easy first cruise for families near Orlando. On three- and four-night trips, expect a high-energy pool deck and a mix of families and friend groups.

Best for: Orlando-area families and first-time cruisers who want a quick, lively Bahamas trip.

Sailing with Carnival

Carnival Cruise Line is America’s budget-friendly “Fun Ship” brand: casual, sociable and packed with free food, comedy and pool-deck parties. It sails from more US ports than almost any other line, which makes short Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico getaways easy to reach. It suits families, groups and value seekers, less so travelers wanting quiet elegance or fine dining.
