About Carnival Magic
Carnival Magic, the 2011 Dream-class ship, was the first to feature several Carnival staples: Cucina del Capitano, the family-style Italian restaurant; RedFrog Pub, a Caribbean-themed bar with its own ThirstyFrog beer; and SportSquare, an open-air sports area with a ropes course. Like its sisters, it has the Lanai wraparound promenade and a WaterWorks park with long slides. Magic has sailed from several US ports, mostly on Caribbean routes. It’s a dependable ship for families and friend groups who want Carnival’s energy without the busiest new ships.
Best for: Families and friends who want a lively, well-rounded Carnival ship at a comfortable size.

It sails from more US ports than almost any other line, which makes short Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico getaways easy to reach. It suits families, groups and value seekers, less so travelers wanting quiet elegance or fine dining.
