About Carnival Miracle

Carnival Miracle, the 2004 Spirit-class ship, has a steakhouse called Nick & Nora’s, named for the detective couple from The Thin Man, set high in the ship beneath the funnel. It shares the class’s slim hull and generous balcony count, which suit scenic routes. Miracle has spent several summers in Alaska from Seattle and has also sailed from the West Coast to Mexico and Hawaii. The Lido Deck carries the fleet’s popular casual counters, including Guy’s Burger Joint. It’s a good match for Carnival fans who want glaciers and whales rather than another Caribbean beach.

Best for: Carnival fans and families looking for a casual, affordable Alaska or West Coast cruise.

Sailing with Carnival

Carnival Cruise Line is America’s budget-friendly “Fun Ship” brand: casual, sociable and packed with free food, comedy and pool-deck parties. It sails from more US ports than almost any other line, which makes short Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico getaways easy to reach. It suits families, groups and value seekers, less so travelers wanting quiet elegance or fine dining.
