About Viking Sea
Viking Sea joined the fleet in 2016 as the second of Viking’s ocean ships, and she is a mirror image of Viking Star in nearly every respect. That consistency is the point: whichever ship you board, you’ll find the same light Nordic interiors, the same excellent included dining and the same quietly polished service. There are no kids, no casino and no nickel-and-diming for the basics, with beer and wine at lunch and dinner and Wi-Fi included. Viking Sea has spent much of her career in Europe, sailing Mediterranean and Scandinavian itineraries, along with longer repositioning voyages that string together less familiar ports.
Best for: Adults who want a destination-focused European voyage on a ship with no casino, no kids and very little upselling.
