About Viking Sky
Viking Sky entered service in 2017 as the third of Viking’s ocean sisters, sharing their elegant, minimalist Scandinavian design and destination-first rhythm. Public rooms flow into one another around a central atrium, and most evenings are spent over an unhurried dinner, a classical recital or a drink in the Explorers’ Lounge watching the coast slip by. The fare covers far more than most mainstream lines include, so there are few decisions to make once you’re aboard. Viking Sky has sailed Northern Lights voyages along the Norwegian coast as well as Mediterranean and British Isles itineraries, so she suits travelers interested in culture and scenery.
Best for: Travelers who want a scenery-and-culture voyage, such as the Norwegian coast or the British Isles, on a calm, adults-only ship.
