About Viking Venus

Viking Venus entered service in 2021, the first new Viking ocean ship to debut after the pause in global cruising, and she brought the line’s proven design back with a few refinements. Her layout matches her older sisters, so returning guests will feel at home within minutes, but her furnishings and technology are a generation newer. The onboard experience centers on the included shore excursions, enrichment talks and leisurely, unrushed dining. Viking Venus has been based in Europe for much of her career, sailing the British Isles, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean, with transatlantic voyages connecting her seasons.

Best for: First-time Viking ocean cruisers who want one of the newer ships in the series on a classic European itinerary.
