About AIDAluna

AIDAluna joined the fleet in 2009 as the third Sphinx-class ship, part of the original trio before AIDA added an extra deck to later sisters. She is a familiar, well-liked ship among German cruisers, with AIDA’s casual club-ship style: no dress code, open seating in the buffet restaurants and a Theatrium that serves as the ship’s living room, stage and dance floor. Her size makes her versatile, and she has spent winters in the Caribbean as well as summers in northern Europe. As with all AIDA ships, the onboard language is German, which non-speakers should factor in before booking.

Best for: German-speaking families and couples who want a mid-sized, informal ship for European or Caribbean sailings.
