About Odyssey of the Seas
Odyssey of the Seas, the second Quantum Ultra ship, entered service in 2021 and was the first of its sub-class built for North American cruisers. It shifted the Quantum formula toward the Caribbean with a resort-style pool deck, the Lime & Coconut bar and The Bamboo Room, a tiki lounge. Signature thrills carry over, including RipCord by iFLY, the North Star capsule and SeaPlex, the indoor home of bumper cars and games. Teppanyaki and Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade round out the food. It has sailed the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale and is a good alternative to the Oasis class if you prefer a slightly smaller crowd.
Best for: Couples and families who want modern Royal Caribbean thrills and a Caribbean pool vibe without Oasis-class crowds.

It suits families, groups and active couples who want a floating resort and a private-island beach day, and it’s less suited to anyone who wants quiet, small ships or an all-inclusive fare.
